Click on Customise on the right hand corner of the page
Click on Add a gadget
Click on My Blog List
Go from there

When you already have a list on your page --- click on the Screwdriver & Spanner icon to edit the "gadget".

Add a Gadget - link to websites

Click on Customise
click on Add a gadget
click on Link list
Add new site name and url
save

Changing time on the blog

Click on Customise
Click on Settings
under Formatting
Change Time to GMT Eastern Time - Melbourne, Sydney.
